- Wanderer: Soriya travels. Like a lot. It’s not all that uncommon to find her… well, just about anywhere. Whether it’s sunny beaches, withering swamps, rocky mountain trails, winter wonderlands, exotic locations, or cities big and small? She likes to see it all, and actively tries to make that goal happen. If you ever had a character who’s in the more remote locations of the world, or even just getting away from the cities for a more vibrant setting? She’s easy to put anywhere in the world.
- Martial Arts/Competitive streak: Being a monk by trade (And lifestyle) Soriya is practiced in several hand to hand combat styles. Having learned from the fable fist fighters themselves, there’s a sense of pride in her craft and a drive to hone it. While she certainly focuses on the healing arts more so than the offensive ones? She isn’t lacking in the other disciplines. She enjoys spars, and will egg them on if she finds an interested party.
- Natural Healer: Soriya has devoted much of her young life into practicing the techniques taught by the Jade Serpent Discipline. She uses healing mists to rejuvenate and heal those who need it (Including but not limited to her foes). It’s not a stretch for her to offer this line of help to anyone she notices as injured, or will take it upon herself if the other party is unconscious. Her healing arts are deeply rooted in Nature and Life Force magic, and as such are far less invasive then Light based spells and abilities. Her magic helps to boost natural recovery, making it less instantaneous but easier on the body in the long run. A great caveat for characters who are weary of the Light or can not handle that brand of magic.
- Pandarian Transplant: After coming to the Wandering Isles at the tender age of 18, Soriya has since become engrossed and equally engrained in their culture. It’s not uncommon for her to be among the temples there, having studied among many of them she often times goes back to train or even teach. Though unrelated to her monkly duties, she does enjoy the culture more so then she enjoys her own. That includes the food, and Halfhill market, where she can be found. Or the various scenic or cultural points in Pandaria as a whole. Anything in that broad category is palatable to her.
